HC Deb 13 May 1903 vol 122 cc532-4
SIR HENRY FOWLER (Wolverhampton, E.)

To ask the hon. Member for North Huntingdonshire, as representing the First Commissioner of Works, if he will state when the road from the Mall to Charing Cross will be opened for traffic.

(Answered by Mr. Ailwyn Fellowes.) Steps are being taken to find accommodation elsewhere for the officials and others occupying portions of the old buildings in Spring Gardens, with a view to the demolition of the buildings without delay. It is impossible to say when the road will be open for traffic.
