I beg to move, in page 104, line 1, at the be ginning, to insert: ." Subject to the provisions of this Act with respect to the Federal Railway Authority.? Sub-section (3) of the Clause, as it appears in the Bill, provides that all contracts made in the exercise of the executive authority of the Federation or of a Province shall be expressed to be made by the Governor-General or by the Governor of the Province as the case may be, and shall be executed on behalf of the Governor-General or Governor. It is necessary to insert the words of the Amendment in order to except cases where the Federal Railway Authority make contracts in their own name.
