The ATTORNEY-GENERAL

I beg to move, in page 105, line 8, at the end, to insert: or solely for the purposes which will after the commencement of Part III of this Act be purposes of His Majesty's Representative for the exercise of the functions of the Crown in its relations with Indian States. except in so far as the context otherwise requires. This is consequential upon the new provision which the House has already passed. These words are necessary in order to except contracts made by the Secretary of State in connection with paramountcy, for which provision has already been made.
