HC Deb 13 September 1909 vol 10 cc1725-6
Sir FREDERICK BANBURY

asked the Postmaster-General whether his attention has been called to the delay in the delivery of telegrams sent from the Berners-street Post Office; and if he will take steps to prevent this occurring in the future?

Mr. BUXTON

If the hon. Member will furnish specific particulars of delay to telegrams from the office in question I will have inquiry made. I am not aware-of any general delay in the delivery of telegrams sent from the office named.

Sir F. BANBURY

Am I to understand there is no complaint?

Mr. BUXTON

I understand not. They have not been made to me, and there has been no general complaint. We shall be very glad to look into it.
