asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he would, in the Finance Bill, set forth the duties to be paid on tobacco grown in Scotland as was done last year in the case of tobacco grown in Ireland?

A clause will be included in the Finance Bill.

was understood to ask whether similar steps would be taken in England in similar circumstances.

The same steps would be taken in England as have been already taken in Scotland and Ireland.
