HC Deb 30 March 1909 vol 3 c181
Mr. GINNELL

asked the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland if he would say what official was responsible in June and July 1907, for recording the names of persons entering Dublin Castle; was his responsibility continuous night and day; did the same person still discharge that duty; and in what part of the Estimates was his remuneration provided for?

The ATTORNEY-GENERAL for IRELAND (Mr. Cherry)

The names of persons who enter Dublin Castle are not recorded. The buildings include a number of Government offices to which the public have free access, and the public are also permitted during the day time to use the yards of the Castle as a thoroughfare.
