asked the First Lord of the Admiralty what amount was expended during the financial years 3905–6 and 1906–7, under the Works Loans Act, on purchases and preliminary work in connection with Rosyth?

Mr. McKENNA

The amount expended on purchases and preliminary work in connection with Rosyth during the financial year 1905–6 was £5,544 6s. 7d.; and in 1906–7 £5,662 18s. 8d.
