HC Deb 22 July 1909 vol 8 c608
Mr. SUMMERBELL

asked the hon. Member for South Somerset if he is yet in a position to report what action, if any, it is proposed to take in regard to the petition received from the Kew Employés Union as to the shortening of the hours of labour worked by such employés?

Sir E. STRACHEY

The matter is still under consideration, and I am not at present able to make any statement on the subject.

Mr. SUMMERBELL

Can the hon. Gentleman not state when the Report is likely to be received?

Sir E. STRACHEY

I cannot at present.
