HC Deb 01 April 1909 vol 3 cc483-4
Mr. GINNELL

asked Mr. Attorney-General for Ireland if he will state the grounds upon which, and the restrictions subject to which, the Estates Commissioners allow duly executed purchase agreements lodged with them to be withdrawn by the vendor; and whether every purchaser has, pending the receipt of a vesting order by him, a corresponding right of withdrawal?

The ATTORNEY-GENERAL for IRELAND (Mr. Cherry)

The Estates Commissioners inform me that it is their practice to hear and determine any application from either party to a purchase agreement, on notice to the other party, to have the agreement withdrawn.
