HC Deb 13 November 1908 vol 196 c714
MR. JESSE COLLINGS (Birmingham, Bordesley)

To ask the President of the Board of Education why the General Report of the Board no longer contains the reports of the school inspectors.

(Answered by Mr. Runciman.) The preparation of these reports involved considerable time and labour, which it was thought could be more profitably devoted to active work in the inspectors' districts. In place of them the Board now issue from time to time reports on particular subjects of special interest.
