HC Deb 19 May 1908 vol 189 cc74-5
MR. CLAUDE HAY (Shoreditch, Hoxton)

I beg to ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he can now lay before the House of Commons the result of the investigations as to the complaints he has received respecting the non-observance in the tailoring trade of the provisions of the particulars clause of the Factory Act.

MR. GLADSTONE

I am informed that the firms referred to in my reply to the previous Question of the hon. Member are now complying with the provisions of the Particulars Order. The question of the observance of the Order in the tailoring trade will continue to receive the attention of the inspectors.
