HC Deb 19 May 1908 vol 189 c75
MR. CHIOZZA MONEY

I beg to ask the President of the Board of Trade if he has yet received any explanation from the railway company concerned on the subject of Colonel Yorke's Report on the Shrewsbury railway disaster; and whether the attention of other railway companies has been directed to Colonel Yorke's recommendations as to securing proper rest for the drivers of express trains.

THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD OF TRADE (Mr. CHURCHILL, Dundee)

I am awaiting the observations of the London and North Western Railway Company on this Report; and upon receiving them will consider the question of communicating with the railway companies generally. I have, however, no doubt that the companies are aware of the nature of Colonel Yorke's recommendations.
