HC Deb 18 March 1908 vol 186 c573
MR. T. F. RICHARDS () Wolverhampton, W.

I beg to ask the Postmaster-General whether he is aware that a man is employed in the Post Office at Cheltenham to clean cycles and do similar work; that he works sixty-three hours a week, for which he is paid less than 4d. an hour; and that he was recently specially called on duty on Sunday to repair a cycle without payment; and whether he will look into the case and see that the man's duties and pay are revised.

THE POSTMASTER-GENERAL (Mr. SYDNEY BUXTON,) Tower Hamlets, Poplar

I will have inquiry made at once, and will inform the hon. Member of the result.
