To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland when the application in the case of the sale of the Law estate at Ardocheasty, near Ardmore, County Waterford, was lodged with the Estates Commissioners; whether an evicted tenant on the estate named Michael Gee has applied for reinstatement; and, if so, what steps have been taken for his restoration.

(Answered by Mr. Birrell.) Proceedings for the sale of the property in question were instituted before the Estates Commissioners in December, 1906. An application for reinstatement has been received from Michael Gee, whose case has been referred to an inspector for inquiry.
