I beg to ask the Prime Minister whether, having regard to the growing excitement in the country among women who are demanding the franchise, and to the unseemly street and police court scenes which result, he can see his way to make some statement to the House on the subject, such as would be calculated to allay the resentment and impatience that have become so menacing to the maintenance of public order.
