§ MR. T. F. RICHARDS (Wolverhampton, W.)To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, whether his attention has been called to the death of a man named David Pearson, at Tipton, in Staffordshire, upon whose body an inquest was held and a verdict returned of death from natural causes, accelerated by excessive drinking and exposure; whether he is aware that it is alleged that anoxious drug had been given this man; whether, under the circumstances, the authorities had taken the necessary steps to elicit the true cause of this mans death; and whether he intends to take any steps towards making further inquiries into this case.
