HC Deb 29 May 1907 vol 174 c1654

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether he is aware that on Thursday, the 9th instant, the houses of Thomas Glynn, Michael Egan, and George Earkins, in Coorheen, Kileenadeema, Loughrea, were raided and searched for arms by men with masked faces; whether any persons have been arrested in connection with the matter; what is the nearest police station to the scene of the outrage; and what steps are the police taking in the matter.

The police authorities inform me that the facts are as stated in the Question. No person has been arrested. The nearest police station is Loughrea, two miles distant. The police are making every possible effort to bring the offenders to justice.
