HC Deb 14 May 1907 vol 174 c783
* CAPTAIN FABER (Hampshire, Andover)

I beg to ask the Secretary of State for War whether, in view of the fact that by the Bill now before the House it is proposed to create Volunteer Field Artillery, he will adhere to his expressed intention of destroying some 3,800 of the Royal Artillery, and by so doing reduce the Artillery Reserve.

MR. HALDANE

I have nothing to add at present to the very full statements which I have already made on these points.

MR. PIKE PEASE (Darlington)

What will be the name of the Field Artillery in the Territorial Force?

MR. HALDANE

I cannot say at present.
