HC Deb 14 May 1907 vol 174 cc776-7
MR. THOMAS O'DONNELL (Kerry, W.)

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether he will state the population and number of local government electors in each of the Parliamentary constituencies in Ireland according to the latest Returns.

(Answered by Mr. Birrell.) Parliamentary Return, No. 22, of this session shows the population and the number of Parliamentary electors in each Parliamentary constituency. Particulars as to the number of local government electors in each Parliamentary constituency in Ireland have not been prepared, but if the hon. Member should see fit to move for a Return giving those particulars, I will offer no objection to its being granted. Its preparation would, however, take some time, as the information would have to be obtained from the clerks of the peace, who have the custody of the registers. The population of each constituency could also be shown in the Return.
