HC Deb 06 May 1907 vol 173 cc1305-6
MR. KENDAL O'BRIEN (Tipperary, Mid.)

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland if he can say whether the estate of Henry Oliver Langley, of Longford Pass, parish of Gortnahoe, county Tipperary, is sold to the Estates Commissioners; and, if so, what steps are being taken to reinstate Michael Morris and Edward Kealy, two evicted tenants on the property.

(Answered by Mr. Birrell.) The Estates Commissioners inform me that the estate referred to has not been sold to them, but they are negotiating with Mr. Langley for the purchase of certain untenanted lands on his property at. Longford Pass. The Commissioners have received their inspector's report on the application of Michael Morris for reinstatement, and it is under consideration. Edward Kealy's application has been referred to an inspector for inquiry, but his report has not yet been received.
