§ MR. W. F. D. SMITH (Strand, Westminster)To ask the Secretary of State for War whether, under Sub-section 3 (c)of Clause 28, Territorial and Reserve Forces Bill, the balances standing to the 423 credit of all regimental funds will, on the transfer of a regiment to the territorial force, be credited to the funds of the county association.
§ (Answered by Mr. Secretary Haldane.) Clause 28, 3 (c) of the Bill provides for the transfer of all the property (which property includes any cash balances) of a unit to the county association, subject to any trust affecting such property, and no alteration can be made in the terms of a trust without the consent of the corps.
