I beg to ask the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs if the Government of the Congo Free State has consular representatives in this country; and, in that case, who those consular representatives are.

Mr. Jules Houdret and Mr. L. T. Grein have respectively been appointed Consul-General and Consul in London for the Congo Free State. Mr. Charles Sarolea, Sir Alfred Jones, and Mr. L. A. Gallé were appointed Consuls of the State at Edinburgh, Liverpool, and Manchester respectively. I have not heard of any of these appointments having been cancelled or given up.
