I beg to ask the Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies what representations have been received from chambers of commerce in this country with regard to the attitude of the Government towards the Brussels Convention.

Representations on the subject referred to by the hon. Member have been addressed to the Colonial Office by the Liverpool Chamber of Commerce, the West India Association of Glasgow, and the Greenock Chamber of Commerce and Manufactures.
