MUNRO FERGUSON (Leith Burghs)I beg to ask the Secretary for Scotland whether, with a view to bringing Scottish Central Boards and Commissioners into closer touch with public opinion and requirements, he will hold a departmental inquiry to report on the modifications in the existing system that may be necessary to secure for such authorities a measure of efficiency and of co-ordination corresponding to their increasing responsibilities.
