HC Deb 16 July 1906 vol 160 c1306
MR. DOLAN (Leitrim, N.)

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland, what action he proposes to take in the case of Patrick McGlone, of Aghanlish, Largydonnell, county Leitrim, who was compelled by the Estates Commissioners to purchase his holding from them at a price which is thirty-eight and a-half years' purchase of the rent fixed by the county court judge.

(Answered by Mr. Bryce.) The Estates Commissioners inform me that they have not yet arrived at a decision in this case, in which legal questions of difficulty are involved. As I have already stated, they are considering whether they shall take steps to test the decision of the county court judge in the case. The matter is not one in which action on my part is called for.
