§ MR. REESI beg to ask the Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies, whether, in view of the need for action in respect of the fast-disappearing foreshore at Chinde, he can make any statement as to what the Government proposes to do before Parliament rises.
§ MR. CHURCHILLHis Majesty's Government is awaiting a reply from the Government of Portugal as to the matter, and it will be impossible to make any statement pending the receipt of the reply.
