HC Deb 19 July 1905 vol 149 c1173
MR. JOSEPH DEVLIN (Kilkenny, N.)

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether he will state the names of the officials engaged in the Irish Agricultural Department in the drafting and writing of correspondence, the conducting of registries, and interviewing callers on public business respectively; and whether he will state the amount of salary paid in each case.

(Answered by Mr. Walter Long.) It would, in my opinion, serve no useful public purpose to give this information. The Answer to the Question is therefore in the negative.
