§ MR. JOSEPH DEVLINTo ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether he will lay upon the Table of the House the statement of accounts showing the allocation of Spirit Licence Duties in Ireland.
(Answered by Mr. Walter Long.) The Irish share of the Local Taxation (Customs and Excise) Duties for the year 1904–5 was £128,385 6s. 10d. The allocation of this amount, in pursuance of statute, was as follows:—£78,000 to the Department of Agriculture and Technical Instruction; and the balance, viz., £50,385 6s. 10d., to the Intermediate Education Board.
