HC Deb 23 February 1905 vol 141 cc1106-7
MR. J. P. FARRELL (Longford, N.)

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether any representations have been made to the Lord-Lieutenant by the County Court Judge of Longford on the subject of allowing a man named Gillespie to have and carry firearms in the parish of Mullinalaghta, county Longford; whether he is aware that at the October quarter sessions this man was convicted of firing at three young men, and bound over; and, if so, what action the Executive intend taking regarding his revolver.

MR. WYNDHAM

This man's arms licence was revoked in November last. His revolver is in the possession of the police.
