SLOAN (Belfast, S.)I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland if he will explain why the position of constabulary doctor, recently vacant in one of the divisions of Belfast, has not been filled in the usual manner; and if he will give the names of the doctors to whom the work has been allocated.
§ MR. WYNDHAMIt was not considered necessary to fill the vacancy, and the work hitherto done by five doctors is now done by four—Dr. O"Connell, Dr. Montgomery, Dr. Maguire and Dr. O"Brien.
