HC Deb 16 February 1905 vol 141 cc301-2
MR. WEIR (Ross and Cromarty)

To ask the Secretary of State for India if he will state when the Report on the Police of India will be laid upon the Table of the House.

(Answered by Mr. Secretary Brodrick.) I am now communicating to the Government of India the decision of the Secretary of State in Council on the most important measures recommended in the Report. I anticipate that the Government of India will, on receipt of the despatch, publish a comprehensive Resolution reviewing the whole subject and stating the conclusions arrived at. When I receive this I will communicate Papers to Parliament.
