MR. LONSDALE (Armagh, Mid.)

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether the Rev. R. T. Simpson has resigned the position of temporary manager of the Lislea No. 1 National School (County Armagh); and, if so, whether the Commissioners of National Education will now accede to the wishes of the parents of the children attending the school and appoint a local manager.

(Answered by Mr. Wyndham.) The Rev. Mr. Simpson has not resigned the temporary management of this school, which he holds pending the appointment of a local clergymen in succession to the former manager. It is understood that such a successor will shortly be appointed.
