HAYDENI beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether any negotiations are in progress between the Estates Commissioners or the Congested Districts Board and the owner of the French Estate, Clooneyquin, in the county Roscommon; if so, how the matter now stands; and whether, as this estate contains a quantity of untenanted land and adjoins a number of uneconomic holdings, the purchase proceedings will be pushed forward without delay.
