To ask the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he can state the total value of the commerce between Malta and Italy for each of the last five years.

(Answered by Mr. Gerald Balfour.) According to the official Italian Trade Statistics, the value of the trade of Italy with Malta in each of the years from 1898 to 1902, inclusive, was as follows:
