HC Deb 17 May 1904 vol 135 c36
MR. DELANY (Queen's County, Ossory)

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether he will explain why the Commissioners of National Education have granted to some principal teachers, appointed for the first time on or after the 1st of April, 1900, salaries largely in excess of the initial salary, while other teachers similarly circumstanced are denied any such increase.

(Answered by Mr. Wyndham.) It is not practicable to reply to a Question of this general character. If the hon. Member will communicate to me the particulars of a specific case I shall be happy to make inquiry and to communicate to him the result.
