To ask the hon. Member for North Huntingdonshire, as representing the President of the Board of Agriculture, whether he will now state if it is the intention of the Government to introduce a measure this session dealing with the present state of the Solway salmon fishery laws; and, if so, when the measure will be introduced.

(Answered by Mr. Ailwyn Fellowes.) A Bill dealing with the fishery laws at present governing the Solway is in a forward state of preparation, and I hope that it may be possible to introduce it at an early date.
