I have received from the Government of India the Return which they undertook to have prepared on a uniform plan for the year 1901–2 by the local governments, and I will lay it upon the Table of the House. For the reason mentioned by my predecessor in his answer to the hon. Member's Question on 23rd July,‡ 1903, I am unable to furnish comparative figures for the year 1892–3.
