§ SIR WALTER PALMER (Salisbury)To ask the Secretary of State for War whether it is proposed to retain the headquarters and clerical staff of a Division at Salisbury.
(Answered by Mr. Secretary Arnold-Forster.) It is not possible to give a final answer to this Question at present. The course to be pursued must depend upon the exigencies of the service, and, as I have already stated, the future distribution of the Army at home, in which the question of the headquarters is involved, is still under consideration.
