§ (Answered by Mr. Gerald Balfour.) The following statement gives the tariff classification and rates of import duty on unmanufactured tobacco in the countries and Colonies mentioned:—
§ Return of the number of accidents which have happened up to the present time of a similar nature; and what steps does he propose to take in order to prevent the happening of such accidents.
§ (Answered by Mr. Gerald Balfour.) A report of the accident has been rendered by the railway company. Two fatal and 133 two non-fatal accidents of this character have occurred on the railway mentioned. The sufferers in each case were trespassers on the line. I have ordered an inquiry into the causes of the accident.
