HC Deb 29 February 1904 vol 130 cc1251-2
MR. NANNETTI

I beg to ask the Postmaster-General if he will explain why officers promoted in Dublin recently have not been called on to perform the duties proper to their class, namely, supervising duties in the sorting office; and state whether he is a ware that an officer on the clerk's class who was promoted a few years ago has never done a supervising duty in the sorting office,

THE POSTMASTER-GENERAL (Lord STANLEY,) Lancashire, Westhoughton

I am making enquiry on the subject, and I will communicate the result to the hon. Member.
