To ask the Secretary to the Treasury if he will state the total amount, specifying contentious and non-contentious business, paid in fees to the Attorney-General and Solicitor-General during the past financial year.

(Answered by Mr. Hayes Fisher.) If the hon. Member desires information as to the financial year 1901–2, I must refer him to page 275 of the Appropriation Accounts for that year. As the financial year 1902–3 only ended a few hours ago I am not in a position at present to furnish corresponding figures in respect of it.
