§ MR. CAREWI beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether the Local Government Board have received reports from the Bagnalstown medical officer as to the necessity of a water supply for that township; whether they have made any inquiry into these complaints; and what action they propose to take to insist upon the local authorities providing a water supply for the inhabitants.
§ THE CHIEF SECRETARY FOR IRELAND (Mr. WYNDHAM, Dover)The question of improving the water supply for this township is at present under the consideration of the district council, at whose instance a local committee is investigating the matter.
