§ MR. CAREWI beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether he can state on what grounds the Board of Works have refused to issue the final instalment on the loan for artisans' cottages in Newbridge to Kildare; and whether, in view of the 1363 public inconvenience thus created, he will direct the balance of the loan to he issued without further delay.
§ MR. WYNDHAMThe Board of Works has not refused to issue the loan. The local authority has not yet completed the forms necessary to enable the Local Government Board to recommend the issue.
