§ MR. TULLYI beg to ask Mr. Attorney General for Ireland whether his attention has been directed to the delay and expense caused to suitors by the accumulation of cases in the Recorder's Court in Dublin; and whether, in order to obviate this public inconvenience he would be prepared to introduce a new Clause into the Local Government (Ireland) (No. 2) Bill extending the jurisdiction of the Court of Conscience from £2 to its former limit of £10.
§ Mr. ATKINSONI am not aware that there has been any accumulation of cases in the Recorder's Court in Dublin. Whether the jurisdiction of the Court of Conscience should be extended is a matter for consideration, but any reform of the existing procedure would not be germane to the Bill.
