HC Deb 21 April 1902 vol 106 cc811-2
MR. CATHCART WASON (Orkney and Shetland)

I beg to ask the Lord Advocate if the Government will endeavour, by arrangement with North Sea Powers, to close absolutely against trawlers such waters as may be agreed on as International breeding grounds.

* THE LORD ADVOCATE (Mr. A. GRAHAM MURRAY,) Buteshire

I understand that the point as to whether or not certain areas on the North Sea should be closed against trawlers will certainly be examined into by the International Commission at Copenhagen.
