HC Deb 21 April 1902 vol 106 c812
CAPTAIN SINCLAIR (Forfarshire)

I beg to ask the Lord Advocate whether in respect of reasonable expenditure out of public funds for the celebration of the Coronation, the Government intend to take any steps to give local authorities in Scotland similiar powers and facilities to those which are to be given in England; and, if so, what powers will be given, and to what local authorities.

* MR. A. GRAHAM MURRAY

No, Sir, the Secretary for Scotland cannot undertake to propose legislation on the subject.
