HC Deb 27 July 1900 vol 86 c1522
MR. MAURICE HEALY (Cork)

I beg to ask the Vice-President of the Department of Agriculture for Ireland whether he will now suspend the dogs muzzling regulations in the city and county of Cork.

THE VICE-PRESIDENT OF THE DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE FOR IRELAND (Mr. PLUNKETT,) Dublin County, S.

A case of rabies occurred in the Fermoy union so recently as the 10th ultimo, the origin of which has not as yet been traced. Inquiry into the matter is still in progress, and in the circumstances it would be premature, at present, to relax the restrictions in the county and city of Cork.
