Definition

• Set up under Memorandum of Understanding between UK Government and devolved administrations in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland setting out principles underlying relations between them (Cm 5240). This committee offers central coordination and liaison in consideration of non-devolved matters which impinge on devolved responsibilities and vice versa; keeping arrangements under review and considering disputes. Membership consists of Ministers from all 4 administrations and is chaired by the Prime Minister.
