Definition

• Set up under Memorandum of Understanding between UK Government and devolved administrations in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland setting out principles underlying relations between them (Cm 5240). This committee considers joint and coordinated action to optimise benefits arising from the knowledge economy and exchange of relevant information. Membership consists of Ministers from all 4 administrations, plus Minister of the Cabinet Office and chaired by the Chancellor of the Exchequer.
