Motion made, and Question, That notwithstanding anything to the contrary in the practice of the House relating to the matters which may be included in Finance Bills, provision may be made in any Finance Bill of the present Session with respect to the treatment for the purposes of income tax in the year 1969–70 and subsequent years of assessment of the income (other than earned income) of persons below the age of 21.—[Mr. Roy Jenkins.]
